Fátima Moreno López is an artist and illustrator born in Granada, who, far from the static circuits of the contemporary art world, continues to work in a stoic, visceral, expressive and personal way in paintings and dreamlike drawings, which confuse the known with the monstrous, with the humorous. An imaginary that proposes the dissection of amorphous forms, bucolic bodies, represented speeds and onomatopoeia: numerous characters, that like in the lyric, all have their reason to be. Fatima has been living and working in Lisbon since 2015. She is currently preparing an artist's book -La mosca en el ojo- which will be published this year in Taffimai. She combines with her job as an illustrator other lines of work and collaborations for fashion or in ceramic pieces.
